** SOLUTION **

There are times when work to be done in a StenhØJ precision H-frame press is of a dangerous nature; & steps must be taken to protect the operator, or others in the proximity of the press. The solution is simple! We enclose the back & sides with heavy steel plate. To be able to view the inside; the front is equipped with a framed Lexan window which can go up/down pneumatically as in the photo, or be hinged to open like a door, left or right. To make the unit failsafe, an electrical interlock can be provided to prevent the press from the operating if the window is open! We have supplied many presses equipped in this manner, in all tonnage sizes up to 440 tons.
